Man Arrested in Hit and Run

A 24-year-old Glenview man was apprehended Sunday on charges stemming from a July hit-and-run that injured a 54-year-old woman.

Police arrested Sean McGuire, 24, of Glenview, early Sunday morning at the police station in connection to a July hit-and-run accident, according to authorities.

McGuire was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report death or injury. The charges stemmed from a July 22 incident on County Lane near the intersection of Locust Lane where a 54-year-old woman was struck by a gray SUV and sustained non life-threatening injuries. The SUV did not stop, according to reports.

McGuire appeared in court Sunday and received a $30,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 26.
