Man Crashes Motorcycle, Dies on Tollway

According to police, the 28-year-old driver from Prospect Heights was not wearing a helmet when he lost control of his bike on the I-294 Tollway near Glenview last weekend. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

With summer riding season in full swing, police are reminding speed demons out there to drive safe, adhere to reasonable speeds and wear a helmet.

Last weekend’s early-morning motorcycle accident killed 28-year-old Christian Borowski, of Prospect Heights, on the 1-294 tollway near Willow Road Glenview, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Borowski lost control of his Honda motorcycle just before 6 a.m. on June 17 and drove into a ditch, where he was ejected from the bike, State Police said. He was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.
