OMG PD: Odd Crimes in Our Patch Region

This week: lots of bizarre vehicle-related incidents and an underwear thief.

Local police departments provided the following reports. In all incidents where an arrest occurred, a charge is merely an accusation and not evidence of guilt.

A cab driver told police he drove two females and a male from Chicago to Des Plaines on June 25. When they arrived, the passengers refused to pay the $75 fare. One of the females told the driver that she was a stripper and asked if she could strip for him at a later date as payment. He declined the offer. The three then fled.
