Online Purchase Reveals Stolen Property

Also featured in this week's blotter: Three Glenview men arrested on charges ranging from DUI to domestic battery.

The following reports were provided by the Glenview Police Department. Arrests and charges are accusations and do not indicate guilt.

Theft

On Feb. 28, someone reported meeting a man at a Glenview business to purchase a tablet computer after connecting with the man online, according to police. After the transaction, the buyer tried to register the tablet and learned it was stolen, police say. Reported loss is $225.00.

Domestic Battery

On March 2, Alberto Lopez-Sanchez, 34, of Glenview, was arrested on the 3200 block of W. Lake Avenue and charged with domestic battery, according to police.

DUI

On March 3, Byong Kim, 50, of Glenview, was arrested on the 1500 block of Independence Avenue and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and improper lane usage, according to police. He was released on bond and his court date was set for March 26, police say.

Failure to Give Information

On Feb. 28, Chuluunerdene Banzragch, 40, of Glenview, was arrested on the 1300 block of Tinker Way and charged with failure to give information after striking unattended vehicle and operating an uninsured motor vehicle, according to police. The charges are related to an accident that occurred on Feb. 27 on the same block, police say. He was released on bond and his court date was set for April, 12.
