Glenview PD arrests April 20 – 24

Retail Theft
April 20 at 2:02 p.m.
Officers arrested Carlos A. Lopez, 20, of Park Ridge, for retail theft from his employer, , 1340 Patriot Boulevard, after store loss prevention agents witnessed him stealing $491.62 worth of alcohol. Lopez was released on $1,000 I bond and is scheduled to appear in court on May 19.

Suspended Driving
April 20 at 10:10 p.m.
Benjamin R. Palmer, 24, of Glenview, was charged with driving while driving privilege suspended and improper lighting after a traffic stop in the 3200 block of West Lake Avenue. Palmer was released on $1,500 D bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 3.

Suspended Driving
April 21 at 10:07 p.m.
Officers charged Charles D. Eckhardt, 21, of Glenview, with driving while driving privilege suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating a vehicle with expired registration after a traffic stop in the 2400 block of Glenview Road. Eckhardt was released on $2,000 D bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 3.

Possession of Cannabis
April 22 at 10:10 p.m.
Officers checking on a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of 1018 Castilian Court charged Derrick E. Bumnicki, 19, of Glenview with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia after recovering 20 grams of marijuana during a search of his car. [Name Removed], 19, of Des Plaines was also charged with possession of cannabis. Bumnicki and [Name Removed] were each released on $1000 D bond and are scheduled to appear in court on May 13.

Driving under the Influence of Alcohol
April 23 at 1:54 p.m.
After investigating a traffic crash at Glenview Road and Terrace Lane officers charged Joseph Joseph, 66, of Glenview, with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Joseph was released on $1500 D bond and is scheduled to appear in court on May 16.

Retail Theft
April 23 at 3:20 p.m.Officers charged Fredrick Scales III, 18, of Mount Prospect, with retail theft after store employees witnessed him stealing a $65 pair of earrings from , 1960 Tower Drive. Scales was released on $1000 D bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 3.

Suspended Driving
April 24 at 11:58 a.m.
Officers investigating a traffic crash at Chestnut Avenue and Patriot Boulevard charged Lynne A. Sienkiewicz, 45, of Glenview, with driving while driving privilege suspended. Sienkiewicz was released on $1500 D bond and is scheduled to appeart in court on June 3.

Warrant Arrest
April 24 at 2:30 p.m.
Following a complaint of trespass at , 1535 Milwaukee Avenue, officers charged Keith P. Herlihy, 48, of Harwood Heights, on a Cook County warrant for a previous arrest for failure to appear on a DUI charge. Bond on the warrant was set at $25,000 D. Herlihy was held for a bond hearing on April 25/
