Police Blotter: Battery, DUI, Possession of Controlled Substance

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol
Aug. 12 at 10:45 p.m.

Yuliya Voyekunas, 40, of Skokie was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol-level of .08 or more in the 1000 block of Waukegan Rd. She was released on a $1,000 D bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 30.  

Aug. 12 at 11:53 p.m.

Teresa Stiles, 23, of Olathe, Ks. Was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol-level of .08 or more and driving while license suspended in the 2200 block of Chestnut Ave. She was released on a $3,000 D bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 7.

Battery
Aug. 13 at 11:05 a.m.

Officers charged Diane Rado, 43, of Northfield, with battery and assault after being involved in an incident in the 400 block of 4th St. She was released on a $1,000 D bond and her court date is set for Sept. 23.

Possession of Controlled Substance
August 14 at 1:55 a.m.

Hugo Azamar, 27, of Mount Prospect, was with possession of a controlled substance, no valid driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and disobeying a red light  in the 4400 block of West Lake Ave. He was transported to court on Aug. 15 for a bond hearing. 

A criminal charge represents an accusation; defendants named here are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
