Possession of a Controlled Substance
Sept. 16 at 2:56 a.m.

A 24-year-old Wheeling man was arrested in the 3500 block of Milwaukee Avenue on charges on possession of a controlled substance, driving while license revoked, improper parking on a roadway and illegal transportation of alcohol. He was transported to court on Sept. 16 for a bond hearing.

An 18-year-old Glenview woman was arrested at her residence in the 1800 block of Aberdeen Drive on charges of battery stemming from an Aug. 29 incident in the 2100 block of Pfingsten Road. She was released on $1,000 bond and is scheduled for Sept. 30.

A criminal charge represents merely an accusation; defendants named here are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
