Police Blotter: Battery, Retail Theft, DUI & More

Glenview PD arrests Jan. 25-27. The following arrest information was supplied by the Glenview Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Battery
On Jan. 25 at 3:00 p.m. Sean McGuire, 24, of Evanston, was arrested at the Glenview Police Station, 2500 East Lake Ave., and charged with battery and theft of service.  The charges are related to an incident that occurred on Nov. 19, 2011 in the 900 block of Waukegan Rd. McGuire was released on a $1,000 D bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 21.  

Retail Theft
On Jan. 25 at 1:15 p.m., Linda Cira, of Chicago, was arrested in the 1900 block of Tower Dr. and charged with retail theft. Cira was released on a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 27.

Criminal Trespass
On Jan. 25 at 8:00 p.m., Eugenia Fitzgerald, 45, of Glenview, was arrested at the Glenview Police Station and charged with criminal trespass.  The charge is related to an incident that occurred on Jan. 25in the 1300 block of Woodview Ln. Fitzgerald was released on a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 21.

Driving While License Suspended
On Jan. 25 at 8:06 p.m., Allen Giron, 19, of Glenview was arrested in the 1200 block of Greenwood Rd. and charged with driving while license suspended and improper lane usage.  He was released on a $1,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 8.

Resisting Arrest
On Jan. 26 at 2:49 a.m. Victor Reis, 22, of Buffalo Grove, was arrested in the 600 block of Juniper Ln. and charged with resisting arrest of a peace officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.  He was released on a $1,000 D bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 27.

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol
On Jan. 27 at 2:05 a.m., Susan Donnelly, 50, of Inverness, Il. was arrested in the 4300 block of Willow Rd. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence – BAC .08 or more and improper lane usage.  She was released on a $3,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 22.

A criminal charge represents merely an accusation; defendants listed here are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
