Police Blotter: Burglary, Minor in Possession of Alcohol, Criminal Damage and More

Glenview PD incident reports Nov. 14 - 22.The following information was supplied by the Glenview Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle
On Nov. 20, a purse and phone was reported stolen from a vehicle parked at a business in the 1300 block of Patriot Boulevard at approximately 2:30 p.m. The reported loss is $625.

Criminal Damage
On Nov. 20, a employee reported someone damaged the bathrooms at , 2010 Central Road between 5 p.m. Nov. 19 and 7 a.m. Nov. 20. The reported loss is $750.

Possession of Cannabis
On Nov. 19 at 11:27 p.m., a juvenile was cited under village ordinance for possession of cannabis and possesion of drug paraphernalia in the 1100 block of Hunter Road.

Minor in Possession of Alcohol
On Nov. 19 at 8:30 p.m., Zoe Haracz, 18, of Glenview was cited under village ordinance for minor in possession of alcohol in the 1700 block of Waukegan Road.

Disorderly Conduct
On Nov. 19 at 9 a.m., a representative of a business in the 2800 block of Pfingsten Road reported a male and female were in the business yelling obscenities at employees because they were unhappy with the service being provided to them.

Minor in Possession of Alcohol
On Nov. 19 at 12:13 a.m., Geoff Harty, 18, of Glenview and a juvenile were cited under village ordinance for minor in possession of alcohol in the 1800 block of Prairie Street. The juvenile was also cited under village ordinance for curfew.

Theft
On Nov. 18, a wallet left on a table at a business in the 2600 block of Navy Boulevard was reported stolen at approximately 10:30 p.m. The estimated loss is $175.

Retail Theft
On Nov. 18, a representative of a business in the 2500 block of Waukegan Road reported a male came into the business, concealed merchandise and left without paying. The incident reportedly occurred about 7:40 p.m. Nov. 17. The estimated loss is $137.

Battery
On Nov. 16, an employee of a restaurant in the 1700 block of Waukegan Road reported a male picked up an order from the business' drive-up windown and when he did, he threw a drink he had ordered back at the employee. The incident occurred about 8:20 p.m.

Disorderly Conduct
On Nov. 16, a representative of a business in the 2000 block of Waukegan Road reported an intoxicated male came into the business and caused a disturbance about 6:45 p.m.

Curfew
On Nov. 16 at 12:56 a.m., three juveniles were cited under village ordinance for curfew violation in the 4000 block of West Lake Avenue.

Disorderly Conduct
On Nov. 15, a representative for a business in the 2200 block of Willow Road reported a male came into the business and began yelling at employees and caused a disturbance. The incident occurred on Nov. 15 at about 11:45 a.m.

Theft of Motor Vehicle
On Nov. 14, a representative of a business in the 2100 block of Johns Drive reported someone stole a 2001 International semi-tractor from their facility. The incident reportedly occurred on Nov. 12. The reported loss is $12,000.

Residential Burglary
On Nov. 14, someone in the 700 block of Shermer Road reported a male came to their door and claimed he was working on a neighbor's fence. The two went outside and continued their conversation, according to reports. It appears when the complainant was distracted someone else entered their home and stole approximately $80 from the residence on Nov. 8 at noon.
