Police Blotter: Burglary, Possession, Criminal Damage and More

The following information was supplied by the Glenview Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. Glenview PD incident reports Oct. 31 - Nov. 8.

Trespassing
On Nov. 6 at 8:42 p.m., Jacqueline Creely, 23, of Glenview; Jonathan Paredes, 24, of Stickney, Ill.; Danielle Fox, 18, of Chicago; Shalene Janke, 22, of Des Plaines; Raymond McPartlin, 20, of Brookfield, Ill,; Darrell Roberson, 20, of Niles; Cindy Rose, 18, of Chicago; and Jessica Spangenberg, 18, of Chicago were cited under village ordinance for trespassing.

In addition, Pardes was cited under village ordinance for minor in possession of alcohol. The incident occurred in the 1000 block of Milwaukee Avenue.

Theft
On Nov. 6, someone reported electronic items stolen from their table while they were at a restaurant in the 4600 block of West Lake Avenue. The incident occured on Oct. 29 at about 10 p.m., with a reported loss of $540.

Minor in Possession of Alcohol
On Nov. 5 at 10:49 p.m., a juvenile was cited under village ordinance for minor in possession of alcohol in the 700 block of Glenridge Drive.

Theft
On Nov. 5, someone reported lumber stolen from a yard in the 900 block of Kings Lane between 5:30 p.m. Nov. 4 and 10:30 a.m. Nov. 5. The reported loss is $500.

Curfew
On Nov. 5 at 1:22 a.m., two juveniles were cited under village ordiance for curfew in the 400 block of Greenwood Road.

Theft
On Nov. 5, a guest of a hotel in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported a laptop computer stolen from their room on Nov. 4. The estimated loss os $773.

Residential Burglary
On Nov. 4, a resident in the 700 block of Long Road reported someone entered their home and stole cash and alcohol some time on Nov. 4 between 4:30 and 9:30 p.m. The estimated loss is $910.

Attempted Residential Burglary
On Nov. 4 at 9:01 p.m., a resident in the 1000 block of Indian Road reported seeing a male attempting to gain access to their home through a window. The offender reportedly fled from the area in a blue or gray compact car.

Theft
On Nov. 4, someone reported their wallet stolen from a bag while they were at a business in the 4000 block of West Lake Avenue. The incident reportedly occurred on Nov. 4 between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. with an estimated loss of $65.

On Nov. 4, someone reported a leaf blower stolen from a landscaping trailer parked in the 600 block of Long Road. The incident reportedly occurred on Nov. 4 at about 11:30 a.m.; the estimated loss is $500.

On Nov. 3,  someone reported their purse and its contents stolen from a cart while they shopped at a busienss in the 2700 block of Pfingsten Road. The incident reportedly occurred on Nov. 3 at atbout 6:20 p.m. Stolen credit cards were used at a local business after the theft, according to police. The reported loss is $4,064.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle
On Nov. 3, someone reported the window broken of their vehicle and a duffle bag and clothing stolen while the car was parked at a business in the 1300 block of Patriot Boulevard. The incident reportedly occurred NOv. 3 between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. with a reported loss of $215.

On Nov. 3, someone reported a gym bag and tennis racket stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 1100 block of Depot Street between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. that day. The reported loss is $130.

On Nov. 3, a resident in the 1400 block of Pebblecreek Drive reported someone broke the front and rear passenger side windows on their vehicle while it was parked at their home and stole tools and other miscellaneous items. The incident reportedly occurred between 10:30 p.m. Nov. 2 and 6:40 a.m. Nov. 3. The reported loss is $1,541.

Criminal Damage
On Nov. 3, a resident in the 1400 block of Pebblecreek Drive reported somoene broke the window on their vehicle was it was parked at their home. The incident on Nov. 3 between 2:30 and 5:56 a.m., according to reports. The reported loss is $250.

Theft
On Nov. 1, someone reported jewelry items stolen from their room while they were staying at a hotel in the 2600 block of Lehigh Avenue. The incident reportedly occurred between Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, with a reported loss of $44,300.

Disorderly Conduct
On Nov. 1, an employee of a business in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported an employee was terminated and escorted off their property for remarks made to co-workers.

Burglary
On Nov. 1, an employee of a business in the 0-100 block of Park Drive reported someone entered the basement and stole computers, cameras and other related equipment. The incident reportedly occurred between 7:45 p.m. Oct. 31 and 7:30 a.m. Nov. 1.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
On Oct. 31 at 9:22 p.m., Gerald King, 23, of Glenview was cited under village ordinance for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 4100 block of Cove Lane.

Residential Burglary
On Oct. 31, a resident in the 600 block of Carriage Hill Drive reported a man came to their resident and used a ruse to gain access. The residents believe a second person entered the home as well while they were being distracted, according to reports. It was later learned that several pieces of jewelry were missing from a bedroom. The incident reportedly occurred 4:15 p.m. Oct. 31, resulting in a reported loss of $15,000.
