Police Blotter: Convicted Felon Caught with Gun, 80-Year-Old Found with Firearm

Glenview PD arrests Jan. 27-29. The following arrest information was supplied by the Glenview Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Trespassing
On Jan. 27 at 4:17 p.m., Igor Terentyev, 21, of Buffalo Grove, was arrested in the 1600 block of Lehigh Ave. and charged with trespassing and theft of service.  The charges are related to an incident that occurred on Jan. 27 in the 1800 block of Lehigh Ave.  He was released on a $1,000  bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 8.

Possession of Weapon by Convicted Felon
On Jan. 28 at 1:02 a.m., Dylan Smith, male, 21, of Glenview, was arrested in the 1700 block of Wildberry Dr. and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. He was transported to court on Jan. 30 where he appeared before a judge and received a $20,000 bond.  His next court date is set for Feb. 16.

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol
On Jan. 29 at 2:24 a.m. Albert Chrzastowski, 18, of Northbrook, was arrested in the 1800 block of Waukegan Rd. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence – BAC .08 or more, operating and uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage and failure to reduced speed to avoid an accident. Chrzastowski was released on a $2,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 8.

Unlawful Use of a Weapon
On Jan. 29 at 9:07 p.m. Louis Ginger, 80, of Glenview, was arrested in the 200 block of North Branch Rd. and charged with possession of a firearm – no FOID and possession of ammunition – no FOID. Ginger was released on a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 27.

A criminal charge represents merely an accusation; defendants listed here are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
