Officers investigating a traffic crash in the 4200 block of West Lake Avenue charged William C. Peterson, 46, of Mt. Prospect, with driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of a crash, and improper lane use. Peterson was released on $1000 D bond and is scheduled to appear in court May 9.

Viktoriya Gulyk, 34, of Deerfield, was charged with retail theft after loss prevention agents, 1960 Tower Dr., allegedly observed her stealing $154 in cosmetics. Gulyk was released on $1000 D bond and is scheduled to appear in court on May 13.
