Police Blotter: DUI, Theft, Obstructing Justice and More

Glenview PD Arrests Sept. 27 - 30.

Obstructing Justice
Sept. 29 at 11:30 p.m.

Jesse Carbajal, 31, of Park City was arrested in the 2700 block of Pfingsten Road on charges of obstructing justice. He was released on $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 31.

Retail Theft
Sept. 28 at 6:42 p.m.

Marian Stroe, 39, of Chicago was arrested in the 1900 block of Tower Drive on charges with retail theft. He was released on $1,000 bond and a court date was set for Oct. 31.

No Valid Driver's License
Sept. 28 at 4:40 p.m.

Crisantos Torres-Sanchez, 31, of Chicago was arrested in the 900 block of Milwaukee Avenue on charges of no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was released on $2,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 28.

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol
Sept. 28 at 12:02 a.m.

Robert Sroka, 67, of Niles was arrested in the 500 block of Warren Road on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence -- BAC .08 or more, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was released on $1,000 bond and a court date has been set for Nov. 15.

Driving While License Suspended
Sept. 27 at 8:25 p.m.

Venancio Fray Mazaba, 34, of Des Plaines was arrested at the intersection of Greenwood Road and East Lake Avenue on charges of driving while license suspended, no valid driver's license and disobeyed red light. He was released on $1,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 15.

A criminal charge represents merely an accusation; defendants named here are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
