Police Blotter: Felony DUI, Retail Theft at the Glen

Glenview PD arrests June 17-21.

Driving Under the Influence
On July 21 at 7:26 p.m., Guillermo Vargassolis, 25, of Des Plaines, IL was arrested in the 3500 block of Winnetka Rd. and charged with a felony DUI, driving while license suspended, failure to give information after striking an unoccupied vehicle, and improper lane usage. He was transported to court on July 22 for a bond hearing.

Retail Theft
On July 20 at 4:56 p.m., Lora Yario, 23, of Mount Prospect, was arrested in the 1900 block of Tower Dr. and charged with retail theft. She was released on a $1,000 bond and is schedule to appear in court on Aug. 16.

Delivery of Cannabis
On July 19 at 6:52 p.m., Andrew Juravic, 21, of Glenview, was arrested in the 1800 block of Chestnut Ave. on a Cook County/Glenview warrant issued for his arrest for delivery of cannabis.  The charge is related to an incident that occurred last month in the 2200 block of Pinehurst Dr.  He was released on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 30.

Driving While License Suspended
On July 17 at 5:46 p.m., Tyrone Gibbs, 46, Waukesha, Wisc. was arrested in the 500 block of Lehigh Ave. and charged with driving while license suspended and suspended registration.  He was released on a $1,500 bond is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 27.

Driving While License Revoked
On July 17 at 11:34 p.m. Manuel Cervantes-Esparza, 55, of Wheeling, was arrested in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Ave. and charged with driving while license revoked and improper lighting- one headlamp.  He was released on a $1,500  bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 27.  

A criminal charge represents an accusation; defendants named above are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
