Police Blotter: Man Drives Drunk and Causes Crash, Out-of-Towner Charged with Battery

Glenview PD arrests Aug. 5-8

Driving While License Suspended
Aug. 5 at 8:52 p.m.

Don Papadatos, 23, of Skokie, was charged in the 9800 block of Milwaukee Ave. with driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle after a traffic stop at that location. He was released on a $2,000 D bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 7.

No Valid Driver’s License
Aug. 6 at 8:54 a.m.

Luis A. Rodriguez-Gonzalez, 30, of Palatine, was charged with no valid driver’s license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after being involved in a traffic crash at Willow Rd. and I-294. He was released on a $1,500 I-bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 26.

Stephanie Mizuno, 54, of Vero Beach, Fla. was charged with battery for an incident that occurred in the 700 block of Arbor Lane. She was released on a $1,000 D bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 26.

Aggravated Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol
Aug. 7 at 12:31 a.m.

Ramiro Hernandez, 22, of Chicago, was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol-level of .08 or more, no valid driver’s license, driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, disobeying a red light, and obstructing identification after being involved in a traffic crash at the intersection of Waukegan Rd. and Glenview Rd. Hernandez also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest issued by the Cook County Sheriff’s Police for aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to court on Aug. 8 for a bond hearing.

A criminal charge represents merely an accusation; defendants named above are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
