Police Blotter: Man Exposes Himself; $49,000 in Electronics, Cash Taken from Home

Glenview PD Reported Incidents Sept. 26 - Oct. 4.

Disorderly Conduct
On Oct. 1, an employee of a restaurant in the 9800 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported a male who was denied a request in the drive thru became irate, parked and came into the restaurant. The man reportedly shouted obscenities and threatened to batter the employee.

Disorderly Conduct
On Oct. 1 at about 8 a.m., a person said while walking in , 2699 West Lake Ave., . The male reportedly left on foot in an unknown direction.

Battery
On Oct. 1, an employee of a restaurant in the 1600 block of Waukegan Road reported a customer yelled at them and pushed them. The customer was reportedly intoxicated and refused to pay their bill.

Disorderly Conduct
On Sept. 30, an employee of a business in the 2200 block of Willow Road reported a customer created a disturbance and threatened employees when they learned the merchandise they wanted was not available.

Residential Burglary
On Sept. 30 at noon, a resident in the 4100 block of Crestwood Lane reported a male subject came to their resident and asked to perform tree trimming services. The male and homeowners spoke in the backyard and after the person left, the homeowner reportedly discovered $100 had been taken from a room in the house.

Disorderly Conduct
On Sept. 29, a resident in the 1600 block of Marie Lane reported someone broke glass on the driveway of their residence. The incident reportedly occurred some time between 11:30 p.m. Sept. 28 and 7:15 a.m. Sept. 29.

Criminal Defacement
On Sept. 29, officers located graffiti spray painted on the south wall of the parking garage located at 2701 Aviator Lane. It is unknown when the incident occurred; estimated loss is $30.

On Sept. 29, officers located grafitti spray painted on a staircase wall at the parking garage located at 2701 Sable Dr. It's unknown when the incident occurred; estimated loss is $100.

Attempted Burglary
On Sept. 28, a resident in the 0-100 block of Harlem Avenue reported someone broke a foreign off in the deadbolt for the door of their home, causing the lock to be inoperable, sometime between 7:40 a.m. and 7:53 p.m. Sept. 28. The reported loss is $20.

Retail Theft
On Sept. 28, an employee of a business in the 2500 block of Waukegan Road reported two females stole cosmetic products from their store, concealing the products in their purses and clothing before leaving without paying. The incident occurred 3:15 p.m. Sept. 23, with a reported loss of $241.

On Sept. 28, an employee of a business in the 2700 block of Pfingsten reported two females stole cosmetics products from the store, concealing the products in their purses before leaving without paying. The incident occurred at 2:48 p.m. Sept. 23, with a reported loss of $321.

Suspicious Person
On Sept. 27 at 5:52 p.m., a resident in the 1600 block of Glenview Road reported a male knocked on their door and told them he was there to serve legal papers. The male told them to open the door so they could see his badge; they refused and he left.

Theft
On Sept. 27 at about 7 a.m., a hotel in the 3300 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported a guest stole a television set from a room, with a reported $400 loss.

Disorderly Conduct
On Sept. 26 at 9:37 p.m., a residet in the 2400 block of Pick Lane reported seeing a male in their yard and it appeared he was trying to look into their windows. The homeowner confronted the male who then fled from the scene.

Residential Burglary
On Sept. 26 at 1:37 p.m., officers responded to a residential alarm in the 2100 block of Franklin Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered the house had been burglarized and electronics, jewelry, cash and other items had been taken, with a reported loss of $49,000.
