Police Blotter: Man Arrested for DUI, Attempts to Flee Police

arrests Sept. 11-12.

Aggravated Battery
On Sept. 11 at 2:30 a.m. Bo Hyum Nam, 30, of Glenview, was arrested in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Ave. and charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer, aggravated battery to medical personnel performing official duties and battery.  The charges are related to incidents that occurred in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Ave. and in the 2100 block of Pfingsten Rd.  He was transported to court on Sept. 12 for a bond hearing.

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol
On Sept. 11 at 4:46 a.m., John Beckman, 44, of Glenview, was arrested at the intersection of Patriot Blvd. and Independence Ave. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol – BAC .08 or more, fleeing/attempting to elude police, driving in the wrong lane, and disobeyed red light.  He was released on a $3,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 2.

Domestic Battery
On Sept. 11 at 11:39 p.m., Adam Visco, 25, of Berwyn, Ill. was arrested in the 2100 block of Central Rd. and charged with domestic battery. He was transported to court on Sept. 12 for a bond hearing.

A criminal charge represents merely an accusation; defendants named above are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
