Police Blotter: Men Arrested on Multiple Burglary Charges; Retail Theft and More

Glenview PD arrests Sept. 17 - 19.

Burglary
Sept. 17 at 3 p.m.

Two men were arrested in connection to

Sam Lee, 43, of Morton Grove was arrested at the Des Plaines Police Department on five counts of burglary, stemming from incidents that occurred in the 600, 3400 and 3500 blocks of Milwaukee Avenue on Aug. 5 and Aug. 21. Lee appeared in court Sept. 19 and received a $50,000 bond on each charge.

His next court date has been set for Sept. 23.

Nelson Cotto, 45, of Morton Grove was also arrested at the Des Plaines Police Department on three counts of burglary for his alleged role in incidents that occurred in the 600 and 3400 blocks of Milwaukee Avenue. Cotto appeared in court Sept. 19 as well, and received a $25,000 bond for each charge.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 23.

No Valid Driver's License
Sept. 18 at 4:26 p.m.

Alejandro Aquino, 24, of Des Plaines was arrested in the 4000 block of West Lake Avenue on charges of no valid driver's license, speeding and driving without headlights when required.. He was released on $1,500 bond and a court date was set for Oct. 12.

Driving While License Suspended
Sept. 17 at 11:45 p.m.

Christopher White, 45, of Glenview was arrested in the 2300 block of West Lake Avenue on charges of driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis (less than 2.5 grams). He was released on $2,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 1.

Retail Theft
Sept. 16 at 12:27 p.m.

Iwona Jastrzebska, 39, of Chicago was arrested on charges of retail theft in the 1900 block of Tower Drive. She was released on $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 12. 

A criminal charge represents merely an accusation; defendants named here are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
