Police Blotter: Possession, DUI, Criminal Damage and More

Glenview PD Arrests Oct. 17 - 19.

Driving While License Suspended
Oct. 19 at 4:33 a.m.

Jorge Jimenez, 26, of Buffalo Grove was arrested in the 2000 block of Waukegan Road and charged with driving while license suspended, registration suspended for no insurance, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating a vehicle with expired registration. Jimenez also had a warrant for his arrest from the Northbrook Police Department for failure to appear. He was transported to court to Oct. 19 for a bond hearing.

Criminal Damage
Oct. 18 at 1 p.m.

Tejender Masuta, 64, of Carpentersville was arrested at and charged with criminal damage and battery. The charges are related to an incident that occurred Oct. 18 in the 2400 block of Glenview Road. He was released on $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 18.

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs
Oct. 18 at 2:14 a.m.

Robert Sroka, 67, of Niles was arrested in the 2400 block of Pfingsten Road and charged with driving under the influence (combined alcohol/drugs) and improper lane usage. He was released on $3,000 bond and his court date was set Dec. 6.

Possession of Cannabis
Oct. 17 at 2:25 p.m.

Sara Chaboki, 19, of Glenview was arrested at and charged with possession of cannabis. The charges are related to an incident that occurred on Aug. 26 in the 4000 block of West Lake Avenue. She was released on $1,000 bond and a court date has been set for Nov. 15.

A criminal charge represents merely an accusation; defendants named here are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
