Police Blotter: Possession of a Controlled Substance, Leaving the Scene, DUI

The following arrest information was supplied by the Glenview Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction, and all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Glenview PD arrests Dec. 6 - 9.

 

Driving Under the Influence

Police arrested Thomas Boyle, 48, of Northfield, in the 2200 block of Wagner Rd. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage. Boyle was released on a $1,000 bond, pending a Feb. 6, 2012 court date.

Authorities stopped and arrested Heeseok Lee, 26, of Glenview, in the 2300 block of East Lake Ave. Lee was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol content of greater than .08, no valid driver's licence, and with improper parking on a roadway. Lee was released on a $3,000 bond, pending a Feb. 6, 2012 court date.

 

No valid driver's license

Dec. 8, 3:09 am

Police stopped David Pina-Gante, 23, of Chicago, in the 1100 block of East Lake Ave. He was charged with no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and improper lane usage. Pina-Gante was released on a $2,000 bond, and has a court date scheduled for Jan. 25, 2012.

 

Possession of a controlled substance

While driving in the 4500 block of West Lake Ave., police stopped and arrested 22-year-old John Spence, of Wilmette. Spence was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and for driging under the influence of alcohol.

According to police, Spence was also processed on a Violation of a Condition of Release arrest warrant issued by Cook County. He was then transported to court later the same day for a bond hearing.

 

Leaving the scene of an accident

Dec. 6, 7:00 pm

Gregory Jackson, 24, of Des Plaines, was taken into custody by Glenview police officers at the Evanston Police Station, after it was learned Jackson was being held on a warrant issued for his arrest.

Jackson was subsequently transported to the Glenview Police Station, and charged with leaving the scene of an accident, driving with a suspended license, driving without proof of insurance and improper lane usage. Each of the charges stem from an incident that occured on Oct. 13, 2011, in the 9800 block of Milwaukee Ave., police said.

He was released the following day on a $10,000 bond, pending a Jan. 10, 2012 court date.

 

Battery

Dec. 6, 3:15 pm

Police arrested Carl Speck, 20, of Wheeling, and charged him with battery stemming from an incident that occured on Oct. 19, 2011, in the 1800 block of Waukegan Rd., authorities said. Speck was released on a $1,000 bond pending a Jan. 13, 2012 court hearing.
