Police Blotter: Retail Theft, Forgery & Aggravated Battery

Glenview PD arrests Feb. 29-March 1. The following arrest information was supplied by the Glenview Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Retail Theft
On Feb. 29 at 2:52 p.m. Samuel Urbach, 37, of Palatine, was arrested at the Glenview Police Station and charged with retail theft. The charge is related to an incident that occurred on Jan. 8 in the 2800 block of Patriot Blvd. He was released on a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 8. His court date was set for 03/08/12.

Aggravated Battery
On March 1 at 4:45 p.m. Howard Adams, 23, of Des Plaines, was arrested at the Glenview Police Station and charged with aggravated battery. The charge is related to an incident that occurred on Feb. 20 in the 2400 block of Chestnut Ave.  He was transported to court on March 2 for a bond hearing.

Retail Theft
On Feb. 29 at 7:17 p.m. Galina Yukhvid, 53, of Glenview, was arrested in the 1900 block of Tower Dr. and charged with retail theft.  She was released on a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 27.

Driving While License Suspended
On March 1 at 2:17 a.m. Corey Bucar, 23, of Wheeling, was arrested in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Ave. and charged with driving while license suspended and no rear registration plate light. He was released on a $1,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 27.  

Driving While License Revoked
On March 1 at 7:39 a.m. Christopher Gray, 52, of Glenview, IL was arrested in the 1800 block of Milwaukee Ave. and charged with driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and improper lane usage. He was released on a $2,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 27.

Forgery
On March 1 at 12:55 p.m., Kayle Kuehn, 20, of Round Lake, Il. was arrested in the 1300 block of Patriot Blvd. and charged with forgery and identity theft.  She was transported to court on March 2 for a bond hearing.

Driving While License Suspended
On March 1 at 8:22 p.m. Reinhold Salmen, 46, of Skokie, Il. was arrested in the 1800 block of Glenview Rd. and charged with driving while license suspended and operating a vehicle with expired registration. He was released on a $1,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 30.

A criminal charge represents merely an accusation; defendants listed here are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
