Glenview PD arrests Feb. 5 - 6

Retail Theft

Feb. 5 at 5:30 p.m.

 Officers charged Marie L. Martinez, 46, of Wheeling, with retail theft after loss prevention agents at , 2201 Willow Road, recovered $14 worth of stolen merchandise from her. Martinez was released on $1000 D bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 24.

Revoked Driving

After a traffic crash investigation in the 4500 block of Willow Road, officers charged Eric Slapak, 29, of Northbrook, with driving while driving privilege revoked, improper turn and no insurance. Slapak was released on $1500 D bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 10.

Unlicensed Driving

Feb. 5 at 8:19 p.m.

Officers charged Zuliema Renya-Garces, 20, of Des Plaines, with driving without a valid driver’s license and no rear registration light after a traffic stop in the 3900 block of Glenview Road. Renya-Garces was released on $1500 D bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 25.

A criminal charge represents an accusation; defendants named are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
