Police Blotter: Skateboard Ramp Stolen, Minors in Possession of Alcohol and More

Glenview PD Incident Reports Oct 3 - Oct. 11.

Criminal Damage
On Oct. 9, someone in the 1600 block of Waukegan Road reported a window of a business had been damaged, with an estimated loss of $300. A rock was reportedly found in the business; it is unknown when the incident occurred. 

Theft
At about 6 p.m. Oct. 8, a male was seen exiting a car, taking a skateboard in the 600 block of Long Road and fleeing the area, according to reports. The reported loss is $30.

Minor in Possession of Alcohol
At 2:35 a.m. Oct. 8, three underaged males, all of Chicago, were cited for minor in possession of alcohol in the 1600 block of Milwaukee Avenue. Jack Mack and Michael Sanchez, both 18, and Dylan Arellano, 20, were cited in the incident.

Theft
On Oct. 7, an employee of a business in the 1500 block of East Lake Avenue reported having their purse stolen while they were at work sometime between 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The reported loss is $482.

Theft
On Oct. 7, a resident in the 1300 block of Pfingsten Road reported a green mountain bike stolen from their front yard on Oct. 6, some time between 6 and 9 p.m. The reported loss is $50.

Retail Theft
On Oct. 6, an employee of a business in the 9700 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported a male came into the store at about 1:52 a.m., grabbed several food items and ran out without paying. The estimated loss is $20.

Disorderly Conduct
On Oct. 6 at 3:33 p.m., two males in the 2200 block of Waukegan Road were reportedly yelling at each other about their cars.

Theft
On Oct. 5, an employee of a business in the 2100 block of Willow Road reported someone stole $70 from the cash register. An ex-employee is suspected.

Assault
On Oct. 4, a business owner in the 900 block of Harlem Avenue reported being threatened by a business associate while they were both at the business.

Burglary from Motor Vehicle
On Oct. 4, a resident in the 1400 block of Pebblecreek reported someone entered their unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the driveway and stole an iPod and a GPS unit some time between 7 p.m. Oct. 1 and 11 a.m. Oct. 11. The reported loss is $350.

Telephone Threat
On Oct. 4, an employee of a business in the 1400 block of Waukegan reported the store received a threatening phone call where a male said someone was on the way to the business to shoot someone. Northbrook police reported a similar incident at a store in the 1000 block of Waukegan Road that occurred on the same day and time, 2:45 p.m. at Oct. 4.

Retail Theft
On Oct. 4, an employee of a business in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road reported a male came into the business, used a device to defeat a lock on a display case and take 28 packs of razor. The estimated loss is $1,000.

Theft
On Oct. 4, an employee of Commonwealth Edison reported electrical power was being stolen by a resident in the 2400 block of Waukegan Road, using a "jumper plate" on the meter to prevent power service charges. This was reportedly the second incident of theft of power at the residence.

Suspicious Person
On Oct. 4, a resident in the 0 - 100 block of Harlem Avenue reported seeing two males on the front porch of his neighbor's house at 1:41 a.m., opening the screen door and looking in windows.

Attempted Burglary
On Oct. 3, a resident in the 1200 block of Swainwood Drive reported someone damaged the door handle and lock of their residence some time between 11:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 2. Pry marks could reportedly be seen on the lock and the reported loss is $500.

Assault
On Oct. 3, a resident in the 200 block of Hennebery Lane reported his landlord threatened him because he reported building code violations to the .
