Police Blotter: Stolen Alcohol and Cigars, Bible and GPS Swiped from Car

Glenview PD reported incidents Sept. 16 - 27.

Disorderly Conduct
On Sept. 25 at 5:02 a.m., Glenbrook Hospital Emergency Room staff received several threatening phone calls.

Burglary
On Sept. 24, an employee of a business in the 2900 block of West Lake Avenue reported someone forced their way into a standalone building on the property and took bottles of alcohol and cigars some time between 6 p.m. Sept. 23 and 7:50 a.m. Sept. 24. The reported loss is $3,410.

Criminal Damage
On Sept. 24, a business owner in the 1900 block of North Lake Terrace reported someone damaged the overhead door and locks at his business some time between Aug. 24 and Sept. 23. The reported damage is $200.

Residential Burglary
On Sept. 22, a resident in the 1700 block of Wildberry Drive reported being approached by a male subject outside his home who told the resident he was doing work at a neighbor's home and needed to get inside the house for repairs. After the subject was let in and left the area with another male driving a white van, the resident noticed several pieces of jewelry missing from his bedroom. The amount of loss is unknown.

Battery
On Sept. 21, a resident reported a male juvenile threatened her and slammed a door on her foot as she tried to leave her building in the 1100 block of Castilian Court at about 3:15 p.m.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle
On Sept. 21, a resident in the in the 800 block of Clover Court reported someone entered their unlocked vehicle and stole a purse and camera while it was parked at their residence some time between 9 p.m. Sept. 20 and 5 a.m. Sept. 21. Reported loss is $180.

Criminal Trespass
On Sept. 21, a resident in the 800 block of Clover Court reported someone entered their unlocked vehicle while it was parked at their residence some time between 2 p.m. Sept. 20 and 10:45 a.m. Sept. 21. Nothing appeared to be missing.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle
On Sept. 21, a resident in the 2000 block of Chestnut Avenue reported someone entered their unlocked vehicle at their residence and stole a digital camera some time between 4 p.m. Sept. 18 and 2 p.m. Sept. 20. The reported loss is $200.

Robbery
On Sept. 19, a man told police his son was approached by three males who pushed him to the ground, battered him and stole $20 in the 4000 block of East Lake Avenue about 8 p.m. Sept. 2.

Burglary
On Sept. 19 a resident in the 1900 block of Tanglewood Drive reported someone entered their unlocked vehicle and stole a GPS unit and a Bible some time between 8 p.m. Sept. 17 and 8 a.m. Sept. 19. The estimated loss is $285.

Theft
On Sept. 19, a property manager reported light fixtures, railing supports, appliances and bathroom fixtures stolen from an unoccupied home in the 4300 block of Vantage Lane between Sept. 14 and Sept. 19. The estimated lost is $12,000.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
On Sept. 16 at approximately 3 p.m., a juvenile was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 4000 block of East Lake Avenue for an incident that reportedly occurred in the 4600 block of West Lake Avenue.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle
On Aug. 12, someone reported a vehicle parked in the 2200 block of Mint Lane was burglarized some time between Aug. 2 and Aug. 3. A GPS system and gift cards were reported stolen, with an unknown value.
