Police Blotter: Suspended Driving, Retail Theft, Domestic Battery

Glenview PD arrests Feb. 7 – Feb. 9

Suspended Driving
Feb 7 at 6:00 p.m.

After a traffic crash investigation in the 4400 block of Willow Road, officers charged Edgar Mateos-Arcos, 42, of Highwood, with driving while driving privilege suspended, operating an uninsured vehicle and improper lane usage. Mateos-Arcos was released on $2,000 D bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 25.

Retail Theft
Feb. 7 at 10:30 p.m.

Detectives charged Velma N. Bond, 44, of Chicago, with felony retail theft at , 1960 Tower Drive, after employees caught her stealing more than  $300 in merchandise. A judge set bond at $75,000 D on Feb. 8. Bond is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 15.

Domestic Battery
Feb. 8 at 3:28 a.m

Anna Malik, 43, of Glenview, was charged with domestic battery after she hit and punched a family member.  Malik was released on $1000 D bond at a bond hearing and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 23.  

 A criminal charge represents an accusation; defendants named are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
