Police Blotter:Teens Busted for Possession of Alcohol; Burglary, and More

Glenview PD incident reports Nov. 21 - 27.The following information was supplied by the Glenview Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Theft
On Nov. 27, someone reported their coat and wallet were taken from a business in the 100 block of Shermer Road. The reported loss is $65.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle
On Nov. 27, a resident in the 1600 block of Robin Lane reported someone entered their unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the driveway of their residence and stole approximately $5 in change. The incident occurred between Nov. 26 and 27.

Residential Burglary
On Nov. 27, someone reported clothing and household items stolen from a home in the 4700 block of Larch Avenue after a break-in between Nov. 26 and Nov. 27. The reported loss is $450.

On Nov. 26, a resident in the 4700 block of Larch Avenue reported someone entered their home by force and stole electronic and jewelry. The incident occurred on Nov. 26, with an estimated loss of $7,200.

Possession of Marijuana
 On Nov. 26 at 8:26 p.m., two juveniles were located in the 700 block of Carriage Hill Drive. One was cited under Village Ordinance for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. The other was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Retail Theft
On Nov. 26, an employee of a business in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road reported a female took clothing items from the store and left without paying at about 1 p.m. When confronted, she fled the area. The clothing was recovered at at another nearby store.

Residential Burglary
On Nov. 25, a resident in the 1800 block of Monroe Court reported they arrived home and saw three subjects in their residence. The offenders fled when they saw the homeowner. Items inside the home were damaged; it is unknown if anything was taken. Reported loss is $1,250.

Battery
On Nov. 24, a taxicab driver reported picking up a male from Morton Grove on Nov. 19 at 2 a.m. and driving that person to Waukegan and Glenview roads. Once there, the male reportedly battered the driver and broke his glasses, then fled from the area. The reported loss is $220.

Theft of Service
On Nov. 24, a taxicab driver reported picking up three males from Evanston at about 3:08 a.m. and driving them to the area of Glenridge Drive and Glenayre Drive. The males reportedly fled from the cab without paying. The reported loss is $42. 

Minor in Possession of Alcohol
On Nov. 24 at 12:25 a.m., Brendan Christ, 19, of Glenview; Kevin Honeman, 19, of Glenview; Jeffrey La Pelusa, 19, of Northbrook; and Alexander Vahhaji, 20, of Columbia, Mo. were cited under village ordinance for minor in possession of alcohol. The incident occurred in the 1900 block of Glenview Road. 

Residential Burglary
On Nov. 23, a resident in the 4700 block of Laurel Avenue reported someone stole jewelry from their residence. It is believed the incident happened on Nov. 19 while the homeowner was being distracted by two males who were soliciting roof repair work. The estimated loss is unknown.

Criminal Damage
On Nov. 22, a resident in the 0-100 block of Mulberry Lane reported someone slashed the two rear tires on their vehicle while it was parked at their residence between Nov. 21 and Nov. 22. The reported loss is $100.

Criminal Defacement
On Nov. 21, the manager of a business at the intersection of Waukegan Road and East Lake Avenue reported someone used spray paint to write graffiti on the business' concrete stoop between Nov. 19 and Nov. 21. The reported loss is $50.

Theft
On Nov. 21, the manager of a business in the 2800 block of Old Willow Road reported someone stole approximately $6,000 from an office between Nov. 3 and Nov. 4.
