Police Blotter: Theft, Burglary and Criminal Trespass

Glenview PD reported incidents Sept. 12 - 20.

Battery
On Sept. 18, a restaurant delivery driver reported being battered by a customer while making a delivery to a residence in the 4500 block of Jenna Road.

Burglary
On Sept. 18, someone reported a generator and other tools stolen between 3:30 a.m. Sept. 17 and 7 a.m. Sept. 18 from a maintenance room in the 1900 block of Tower Drive. The reported loss is $2,666. 

Disorderly Conduct
On Sept. 17, a resident in the 1700 block of Robin Lane reported receiving mail that was harassing in nature.

Curfew
On Sept. 17, a juvenile was cited under for curfew after a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road.

Criminal Defacement
On Sept. 16, officers located graffiti spray painted on a wall in a stairwell in the 2700 block of Aviator Lane some time between 12:08 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. The estimated damage is $200.

Theft
On Sept. 16, someone reported jewelry stolen froma business in the 1600 block of Greenwood Road between some time between Sept. 8 and Sept. 9. Reported loss is unknown.

Criminal Trespass
On Sept. 14, someone reported that person(s) unknown entered a vacant residence in the 3200 block of Potter Road. Nothing was reported missing, but garbage and cigarettes were reportedly found in various parts of the house.

Burglary
On Sept. 13, the manager of a business in the 3200 block of Glenview Road reported two car batteries taken between 8 p.m. Sept. 12 and 6:30 a.m. Sept. 13 with a reported loss of $150.

Theft
On Sept. 12, a resident in the 2400 block of Saranac Lane reported giving a contractor a down payment of $3,500 to begin work on their home in August. No work has been done and there has been no contact with the contractor.

Theft
On Sept. 12, a resident in the 2200 block of Linneman Street reported 13 folding chairs that had been placed by the curb to be picked up by a rental company stolen at about 8:45 a.m. The reported loss is $130.
