Police Blotter: Underage Drinking, Resisting a Peace Officer, Forgery

Glenview PD arrests June 1 to 7.

Retail Theft
On June 1 at 9:57 p.m. Manuel Lozano, male, 28, of Wheeling, was arrested in the 2200 block of Willow Rd. and charged with retail theft. He was released on a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 26.

Retail Theft
On June 2 at 10:47 a.m. April Hamilton, 29, of Palatine, was arrested in the 2200 block of Willow Rd. and charged with retail theft and possession of stolen property. She was released on a $1,000 bond and is schedule to appear in court on July 16.

Warrant
On June 2 at 11:22 a.m. Sean Russell, 20, of Glenview, was arrested by Mount Prospect Police on a Glenview Police Department bond forfeiture warrant for criminal trespass to residence. Russell was transported to court on June 3 to await a bond hearing.

Driving While License Revoked
On June 4 at 4:10 a.m. Gregorio Bernabe, 37, of Chicago, was arrested at the intersection of Willow Rd. and I-294 and charged with driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage. He was released on a $2,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 21.

Retail Theft
On June 4 at 2 p.m. Mark Jackson, 35, of Montgomery, IL was arrested at the Cook County District #2 Courthouse, 5600 Old Orchard Rd., Skokie, IL and was charged with retail theft. The charge is related to an incident that occurred on Feb. 20 in 2500 block of Waukegan Rd. Jackson remained in the custody of the Cook County Sheriff’s Police after processing.

Violation of an Order of Protection
On June 4 at 11:15 a.m. Joseph Makowski, 41, of Chicago, was arrested in the 5500 block of N. Natchez, Chicago, and charged with violation of an order of protection. The charge is related to an incident that occurred on May 30 in Glenview. He was transported to court on June 5th, appeared before a judge and received a $30,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 18th.

Forgery
On June 6 at 10:25 a.m. Michelle Smith, 43, of Chicago, was charged with forgery. The charge is related to an incident that occurred on May 12 in the 2200 block of Willow Rd. Smith was processed at the Palatine Police Department where she was in custody on an unrelated matter. She was transported to court on June 6 for a bond hearing. 

Driving While License Suspended
On June 5at 7:40 p.m., Bridgett Hill, 22, of Wheeling, was arrested at the Glenview Police Station, and charged with driving while license suspended. The charge is related to an incident that occurred on May 30th in the 3500 block of Milwaukee Ave. She was released on a $1,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 25.

On June 5 at 6:40 p.m. Kendall Meyer, 27, of Wilmette, was arrested in the 4600 block of Willow Rd. and charged with driving while license suspended and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was released on a $1,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 21.

Forgery
On June 6 at 3:15 p.m. Dorota Kozlowski, 41, of Deerfield, was arrested at the Glenview Police Station and charged with forgery. The charge is related to an incident that occurred between June and December 2011 in the 700 block of Lincoln St. She was transported to court on June 7th appeared before a judge and received a $5,000 bond. Her court date was set for June 25th.

Disorderly Conduct
On June 7 at 6:30 p.m., Eugene Nikolaev, 28, Glenview, was arrested at the Glenview Police Station, and charged with disorderly conduct – making a false police report. The charge is related to an incident that occurred on April 23 in the 500 block of Lotus Ln. He was transported to court on June 8 for a bond hearing. 

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol
On June 6 at 8:08 p.m. Jerzy Gil, 66, of Des Plaines, was arrested in the 1800 block of Greenwood Rd. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to signal when required. He was released on a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 26.

Retail Theft
On June 7 at 3 p.m. Ewa Woronkowicz, 40, of Chicago, was arrested in the 1900 block of Tower Dr. and charged with retail theft. She was released on a $1,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on June 26.  

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
On June 7 at 1030 p.m. Brendan Cameron, 19, of Glenview, was arrested in the 2200 block of Janet Dr. and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of alcohol (under 21), and resist/obstruction of a peace officer. He was released on a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 16.

A criminal charge represents merely an accusation; defendants named above are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
