Police Make DUI Arrest on Lake Ave.

Retail Theft

Nayelli Avila, 19, of Evanston, was arrested in the 2200 block of Willow Rd. and charged with Retail Theft at 3 p.m. May 2. She was released on $1,000 D-Bond with a court date of May 20. 

Driving under the Influence of Alcohol

Stephen S. Gorka, 32, of Northbrook, was arrested in the 3400 block of East Lake Ave at 12:15 a.m. May 3 and charged with Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC of .08 or more, and Improper Lane Usage. He was released on $3,000 D-Bond with a May 23 court date.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Person under 21 Years of Age

Terrell C. Dawson-Bonds, 18, of Des Plaines, was arrested in the 3100 block of Harrison St. at 2:40 a.m. May 3 and charged with Consumption of Alcohol by a Person under 21 Years of Age and Disorderly Conduct. He was released on $1,000 D-Bond with a June 23 court date.

No Valid Driver’s License

Carlos Manuel Silva-Orellana, 25, of Chicago, was arrested in the 1400 block of Greenwood Rd. at 7:15 p.m. May 3 and charged with No Valid Driver’s License, Illegal Transportation of Alcohol and Disobeyed a Stop Sign. He was released on $1,500 D-Bond with a June 23 court date.
