Police Respond to Possible Armed Barricade
The following arrest information was supplied by the Glenview Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Armed Barricade
On Aug. 17, Glenview officers received a report from about a possible suicidal subject armed with a handgun at a hotel on the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue, according to police. Officers responded to the hotel and made contact with the subject, police say. The subject came out of their room without incident, and no charges were filed against the subject, according to police.
According to Northfield police, support from surrounding police departments was requested for a possible armed barricade, related to the report on the 1500 block of Milwaukee.
DUI
On Aug. 22, Jignesh Patel, 35, of Des Plaines, was arrested on the 2700 block of East Lake Avenue and charged with aggravated driving under the influence (third or more times), driving an uninsured vehicle and speeding, according to police.
