Police Search For Man Accused of Child Luring

Glenview police have released details a Tuesday incident involving a 15-year-old girl and the unknown driver of a black SUV.

On Tuesday, a 15-year-old girl reported the driver of a newer model, black, four door, smaller SUV-style car with tan leather interior, yelled at her from the front parking lot of Glenbrook South High School as she walked south along Pfingsten Rd. around 6:45 p.m., according to police press release.

The driver asked if she needed a ride and she replied no and continued to walk.  The vehicle pulled up to her as she walked east along the north side of the 3600 block of West Lake Avenue on the 3600 block and asked a second time if she needed a ride and she replied no.  

The driver did a U-turn and drove with his passenger side next to her, opened the door again asking if she needed a ride.  She replied no and he drove west toward Pfingsten Road.

The girl described the driver as 20-years-old man in his early 20s, possibly Middle Eastern or Indian, muscular build, around 180 pounds with black, medium 
length hair.

Glenview Police Detectives are investigating the incident and seek the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. If you see a vehicle and driver matching this description, please call 911.
