Skokie Woman Charged in Hit-and-Run Car Crash

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Glenview Police Department:

Skokie Woman Charged in Hit and Run
Mary Siegan, 59, of the 9300 block of Skokie Boulevard in Skokie, was arrested and charged with multiple offenses following the investigation of a traffic crash that took place Friday, Nov. 29, in the 1700 block of Golf Road, police said. Siegan was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, driving with an expired license for more than six months and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident, police said.

Man Charged With Battery After Car Accident
Herman Barichello, 80, of the 1600 block of Riverside Court in Glenview, was arrested and charged with battery following an investigation of an incident that took place at Waukegan Road and Chestnut Avenue on Oct. 29. Barichello was also charged with criminal damage to property, leaving the scene of an accident, failing to give aid and information and driving with a suspended license, police said. 

Three Arrested On Outstanding Warrants
Alan Prevendar, 43, of the 300 block of Nordica Avenue in Glenview, was arrested on a Cook County Sheriff's Police warrant for failing to appear on a charge for driving under the influence, according to police. He was arrested in the 2100 block of Pfingsten Road at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, police reported.

Moise Kasongo, 22, of the 1500 block of Dempster Street in Mount Prospect was arrested and charged with failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident and a disorderly conduct warrant from the Cook County Sheriff's Police at 6:07 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, police reported.

Paul Agronomoff, 48, of the 4600 block of North Clifton Street in Chicago, was arrested in Waukegan on a Glenview bond forfeiture warrant for theft at 4:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, police reported.

Jorge Arellano, 20, of the 0-100 block of 11th Avenue in Arlington Heights, was arrested on two warrants at 11:09 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, in the 3300 block of Milwaukee Avenue, according to police. One warrant was for a traffic offense in Mount Prospect, while the other was an Elk Grove Village warrant for possessing alcohol as a minor, police said.

Driving With a Suspended License
Julia Salgado, 59, of the 2100 block of Rugen Road in Glenview, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license, driving with suspended registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at 7:16 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, police reported. 

Gerlinde Kornmesser, 50, of the 1700 block of Glenview Road in Glenview, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license at 8:58 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, in the 1500 block of Waukegan Road, police reported. 

Driving Without a Valid License
Guadalupe Morteo-Valdez, 43, of the 3200 block of West Lake Avenue in Glenview, was arrested and charged with driving without a valid license at 4:16 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road, according to police.
