Squealing Tires Lead Glenview Police to DUI Arrest

The following information was reported by Glenview Police on Friday, Oct. 11. Where arrests are included, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Glenview Police Department:

Buffalo Grove Man Charged With DUI, Screeching Tires

Gabriel Horwich, 22, of the 400 block of Cedar Court North in Buffalo Grove, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 12:59 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11, in the 400 block of Wilmette Avenue, according to police. He was also charged with squealing or screeching of tires and improper lane usage.

Chicago Man Charged With Driving With a Suspended License

Sherman Prude, 34, of the 1100 block of North Ridgeway Avenue in Chicago, was arrested with driving with a suspended license in the 3800 block of Willow Road at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, according to police. Prude was also charged with driving left of center and operating an uninsured motor vehicle, police said.

Evanston Man Charged With Violating No Contact Order

David Towne, 55, of the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with violating a stalking no contact order on Wednesday, Oct. 9, outside his home, according to police.

Police said he was charged with multiple offenses of breaking the order after an incident that took place Tuesday, Oct. 8, in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road in Glenview.
