by Deputy Cook County State’s Attorney Glen Runk and the case was originally scheduled for arraignment Feb. 3 but was continued as a result of the Ricco was expected to plead guilty or not guilty that day.

No arraignment was held at today's rescheduled appearance. The parties dealt with other legal matters and Judge Shelley Sutker-Dermer never asked for a plea.

Deputy Cook County State's Attorney Mary Morris was most concerned with the previously entered against Ricco, which she feared had expired when court was cancelled Feb. 3. Today, she argued that a new order be entered. Morris and Ricco’s attorney, Steven Weinberg, agreed to the entry of a new three-month order.

While in court today, Weinberg said he is waiting for information that the prosecution is required to provide from the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office.

Sutker-Dermer continued the case until 9:30 a.m. March 17 in Room 206 of the Skokie courthouse. Ricco may or may not enter a plea at that time.

Ricco’s bond was modified Jan. 4 to allow him to attend Camelot School, a therapeutic institution in Des Plaines, according to a statement made by Weinberg in court Jan. 4. Weinberg would not comment further on the case.

Ricco appeared in court with his parents, Denise and Gary Ricco.
