Victims of Tuesday's Fatal Crash Still Not Identified

All three passengers were killed after their car crashed with a village of Skokie garbage truck Tuesday in Glenview. Both vehicles caught fire.

Three people who died after their passenger vehicle crashed with a village of Skokie garbage truck Tuesday still had not been identified as of late Wednesday afternoon.

A spokesperson for the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office told Patch that they were still working to determine the victims ages, genders and names.

The garbage truck struck the passenger car around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday at Harlem Avenue and Harrison Street after the passenger car violated a two-way stop sign, according to the village of Skokie. Both vehicles burst into flames, and had to be extinguished by Glenview firefighters.
