“He has already hit the ground running, coordinating with the many hard-working and dedicated Republicans in the Township to make sure our candidates make it across the finish line victorious," Del Mar added. "We are optimistic about our candidates in Northfield Township, especially Congressman Robert Dold, who continues to lead his liberal opponent in the polls; Arie Friedman, whose opponent continues to duck the tough questions including whether she supports Pat Quinn’s devastating tax hike; Jonathan Greenberg, who is running against Mike Madigan’s point person on what has become a pension reform debacle in Springfield; Mark Shaw, who just earned the endorsement of the Daily Herald; and our fantastic slate of Cook County candidates.”

Pete Amarantos has been active with the Northfield Township Republican Organization since 1978. He currently serves as the Highway Commissioner for Northfield Township, and has served the Township since 1979 previously as Township Assessor and before that as a Trustee. He is co-owner of Outdoor Living by Design and Ikarmen and is a member of the Northbrook Civic Foundation, Rotary, and Chamber of Commerce.
