State of the Village

There are many challenges facing communities across the
United States and the Village of Glenview is no exception.  On November 13, 2011 the League of Women
Voters of Glenview, as in past years, is sponsoring the State of the Village Dinner.

This is an opportunity for residents of Glenview to come to, interact with, and ask questions of the President of the Village, Kerry Cummings; President of the Park District, Angie Katsamakis; and President of the Library Board, David Johnson.  They will be discussing their challenges and potential solutions.

The dinner will be held at the Park Center, Lakeview Room, 2400 Chestnut Ave., Glenview.  There will be a cash bar at 5:30 p.m. followed by a buffet dinner.  The dinner tickets
are $32.00.  Reservations are due by Nov. 8.  Mail a check payable to "LWV of IL Ed Fund" to 2141 Mickey Lane, Glenview IL 60025.  Tickets will be held at the door.
