Glenview Could Get New Grocery Store

Glenview trustees are expected to hear plans for the proposed grocery store on Aug. 20.

Glenview Board of Trustees are expected to hear plans for the proposed Heinen’s Fine Food at 1020 Waukegan Road at the Aug. 20 meeting, Chicago Tribune reported.

Demolition of the former downtown Glenview Dominick's store began in May and the Cleveland-based grocery store is poised to fill the spot around November.

Glenview's Director of Planning Mary Bak says the new grocery store plans to spend $10 to $12 million on the proposed Heinen's in downtown Glenview.
