On many Pace routes, passengers may board a bus by waving to the operator at any intersection where it is safe to do so. These are Flag Stop Routes. But Routes 250 and 270 will become Posted Stop Only Routes, which pick up and drop off passengers only at locations with Pace bus stop signs.

To improve on-time performance and identify more clearly the locations where buses will stop, Pace is in the process of converting many fixed routes to Posted Stop Only service.

Please note:  During weekday morning and afternoon rush hour periods between Jefferson Park and Devon, SOUTHBOUND Route 270 "A" trips will only drop off passengers at posted bus stops and NORTHBOUND Route 270 "A" trips will only pick up passengers at posted bus stops.  Please consult a Route 270 timetable for more details about "A" trips.
