Upgrades in Glenview, Northbrook Aim to Reduce Storm Damage
ComEd officials said they plan to complete upgrades in both burbs by the end of March.

Some of the upgrades are already in the works, according to ComEd officials. Projects include the replacement of underground cable and the installation of (above-ground wires with increased tension to better withstand falling branches) and trip savers.
