Use Your Smart Phone to Help You Vote

The Cook County Clerk's Office's mobile website allows you to check your voter registration status, find your polling place and see a sample ballot for your district.

Wondering if your polling place changed and who exactly you'll be asked to vote for in November? The Cook County Clerk's Office has a new mobile tool to answer those questions.

Clerk David Orr announced Tuesday that the office's mobile website now allows suburban residents to use their smart phones to check polling places, review voter registration status and see a sample ballot.

Visit cookcountyclerk.com on your smart phone. The tool, which is available in English, Spanish, Chinese and Hindi, will pop up automatically.

And don't forget that the voter registration deadline is Oct. 9.
