Caucus Endorses District 30 Candidates

The Northbrook/Glenbrook School District 30 Caucus endorses one incumbent, two newcomers.

The Northbrook/Glenview School District 30 Caucus endorsed a slate of three candidates running for three vacancies on the school board.

The Caucus voted to endorse, in alphabetical order: Ursula Sedlak, Fred Sloneker and Ken Spero, for the upcoming April election. Spero is the only incumbent in the endorsed slate.

If elected in April, the candidates will serve on the District 30 Board for four-year terms, beginning in the 2013-14 school year.

The caucus interviewed a number of qualified candidates, and wishes to thank all the candidates for their interest in serving the school community, according to a press release about its decision.

The school board election will be held Tuesday, April 9. Candidates have until 5 p.m., Dec. 26 to file a petition to be placed on the ballot.
