BabySigns Early Childhood Educator Training

his workshop will provide teachers with exciting ways to implement American Sign Language in the classroom. With signing and singing, finger play, literacy components, movement and craft activities, participants will leave with a glossary of signs for classroom use and learn the proven benefits of sign language in the classroom.

Presenter Jamie Stevens, ASL interpreter and independent certified instructor, will provide resource/support materials and curriculum ideas. For preschool and kindergarten teachers and aides. CPDUs from ISBE and credits from DCFS will be available.
