Rotary Club of Glenview Sunrise presents HEAR Foundation

The Rotary Club of Glenview Sunrise program on Thursday morning, March 22, 2012 will be presented by Clare Kunkel and James Zemba of the HEAR Foundation. The HEAR Foundation is dedicated to health, education, and relief foundation by investing in small, well-designed projects and programs that result in permanent change in individual’s lives. HEAR awards grants and provides direct services in the areas of health, education, and relief. The Rotary meeting topics will include discussion of the HEAR Scholarships, three scholarship grants to student in need in the Chicago area, HEAR Feeds, a relief program designed to deliver fresh frozen protein to those experiencing severe need and/or food insecurity in the Chicago area, and the work of the Foundation at Casa Hogar in Jalapa, Guatemala. In Guatemala, the Foundation runs two programs which prepare young women to become self-sufficient through training in agricultural programs, teaching life skills and business management.
