Township Host Domestic Violence Awareness Seminar

Northfield Township and the Circuit Court of Cook County Second Municipal District Family Violence Coordinating Council will be hosting the 5th Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Seminar, Friday, October 15th at the Glenview Police Department, 2500 East Lake Avenue.

It's Happening Here…Domestic Violence:  Elder Abuse, the Hidden Victims will feature Holly Zielke and a three-member panel of experts discussing the dynamics of elder abuse and how to respond to or report suspected cases of elder abuse.

This free event is open to the public and is an excellent opportunity for social workers, clergy, community leaders and residents to gain a realistic understanding of how to be helpful to those affected by elder abuse.

The event begins at 8:30 a.m. and will conclude at 12:30 p.m.
