GBS Makes ‘Most Challenging High School’ List

Glenbrook South ranked as the 27th most challenging in Illinois.

Glenbrook South High School ranked 27 on a Washington Post list of the state’s most challenging high schools. Nationally it is ranked 942. Fewer than 10 percent of high schools nationally made the list.

That's the same spot it was in among Illinois schools on the list last year and is one spot below Glenbrook North.

The ranking uses the number of college-level tests given at the school divided by the number of graduates.
