Glenbrook South Student Wins Trip to U.S. Space & Rocket Center

Glenview resident Skyler Streff was among 227 students that attended the third annual 2013 Honeywell Leadership Challenge Academy.

 

Glenbrook South High School student Skyler Streff, 16, was among 227 students from 30 countries that had the opportunity to visit the U.S. Space & Rocket Center and see engineering work in Alabama, Chicago Tribune reported. 

New Jersey-based Honeywell company started the program to provide junior and senior high school students a chance to build and hone their leadership skills by tackling real-word challenges in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, according to the company’s website.
