More than 40 student and teacher volunteers from Glenbrook South’s Interact Club recently came together to help a 84-year-old Korean War veteran with some needed home improvements.
Over a two-day period, the group repainted, landscaped and installed new light fixtures around the Arlington Heights home.
GBS Interact Club partnered with Habitat for Humanity for the renovations. The volunteer effort was also part of the club’s annual Paint-a-thon event.
