Glenview Students Learn Guitar with ChordBuddy

ChordBuddy, a device that makes it easy to hit the necessary chords, was featured on Shark Tank.

 

Glenview eighth graders at Attea Middle School recently learned new rhythms on their guitars with the help of a system called ChordBuddy, which makes it easier for students to hit the necessary chords, Chicago Tribune reported.

Glenview Education Foundation awarded a $7,000 grant to Glenview Elementary School District 34 to buy 34 guitars and ChordBuddy systems for students at Attea and Springman middle schools, Chicago Tribune reported.

ChordBuddy can be attached to acoustic and electric guitars to help people learn chords on the guitar. Watch a video of how ChordBuddy workds.

The device was featured on featured on ABC’s Shark Tank, which give entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their ideas or products to investors. Investors on the show have offered more than $6.2 million of their own money to bankroll creative entrepreneurs.
