Glenview D34 Teachers Ratify New Contract
The new contract establishes salaries for 400 unionized, Glenview teachers.
Glenview School District 34 ratified a new contract for 400 unionized teachers on Monday night, establishing teacher salaries through June 30, 2016, according to the Journal & Topics.
Based on the new contract, teacher salaries will range from "$38,522 for a first-year teacher with bachelor’s degree to $117,842 for a 17-year teacher with a master’s degree in the 2014-2015 school year," the Journal & Topics reports.
District 34 schools are Attea Middle School, Glen Grove Elementary, Henking Elementary, Hoffman Elementary, Lyon Elementary, Pleasant Ridge Elementary, Springman Middle School and Westbrook Elementary.
